Please be advised that Drumheller has detected some geosmin in the drinking water that is supplied to the Village of Linden. Geosmin is harmless and does not require further treatement from a health standpoint but is can be detected by the human nose in the water supply at a very low level. Currently the levels detected in the Drumheller water supply are above the odour threshold. This will give the water an earthy or musty taste and smell. Find out more here.
