PUBLIC HEARING, BYLAW 2026-13, NOVEMBER 23, 2026
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act (MGA), the Village of Linden intends to consider a proposed amendment to
Land Use Bylaw 2023-10. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to add ‘Cannabis Retail Sales’ as a discretionary use in the Central Business District (CB).
Should you wish to address council in person, a public hearing for Bylaw No. 2026-13 will be held in the Village of Linden Office at 109 Central Ave E., Linden, AB, on November 23, 2026, commencing at 6:00 p.m.
Council will hear from any person claiming to be affected by the proposed bylaw.
Additionally, written comments may be delivered to Box 213 Linden, AB T0M 1J0 or emailed to clerk2@linden.ca.
Submissions will be received up to November 20, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
Proposed Bylaw 2026-13 can be reviewed online at linden.ca, or copies may be picked up at 109 Central Ave E., Linden, AB
Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Curbside Recycling Collection Services
Set your bins on the street, directly against the front curb before 7:00 a.m. for collection by T & T Disposals
and please remove them within 12 hours of pickup.
Please ensure your bins have enough clearance on all sides, as the collection process is entirely automated
and operated by the truck’s machinery.

Very soon, the Village of Linden staff, Council, and Fire Department will no longer knock on your door or ring your doorbell
to notify residents of emergency alerts.
Though the Village of Linden may continue to use social media, timely alerts and notifications may not reach you.
The only way to receive alerts in real time is for residents to download “Voyent Alert!” on your phone. We will use this system primarily to notify residents of emergency alerts and notifications in an efficient manner.
